1) For the same reason that i do not use Myself or He -- the use of uppercase letters can signify Divinity. Using lowercase letters signifies that i, vic smyth, am expressing views through my lower self.

YMOMTetragram for The Young Man and the Old Man [X] is a tetragram for The Young Man and the Old Man, which will be used on the website in the form of an Easter egg rather than writing out the entire title or refering to it as our "short story".

To offer our short story, YMOM, as a form of innertainment to as many people as we can.
What is innertainment? It is entertainment for our inner Selves -- a way to pass the time that is positive, uplifting and inspirational, providing nourishment for our souls, and a respite from our busy lives.

We priced our eBook version to be as affordable as possible so that we could reach as many people as possible. We have no control over the price of the audiobook as it is set by Amazon/Audible.

Can't blame inflation for this one. As we will be advertising YMOM in the near future, we had to increase the price to the minimum that Amazon allows to increase the royalty percentage to hopefully cover the cost of the ads. It's all about the CPC and ACOS rate and lots of other important sounding acronyms that i, vic smyth, don't quite understand yet.

The other short story that i wrote in 1983 i never felt was meant to be published because it seemed to me that the material was too controversial back then. However, times have changed and we might offer it as a bonus piece to an upcoming print version of The Young Man and the Old Man. There is also discussion of adding a study guide to the print version if enough readers express an interest in it.

Some of the listeners of the audiobook were not able to leave reviews on Amazon/Audible, so they emailed them to us. The reviews from the eBook are ones that were posted on Lulu.com, one of them was emailed to me. They are all legitimate reviews.

When the Buddha arose from meditating under the bodhi tree, the monks in his sangha could see that he was changed. They asked him, "Are you enlightened?" To which the Buddha replied, "I am awake!"
Now, i cannot make the same claim as Buddha, that "I am awake." But i can make the claim that at least "i am aware that I/i am not awake."
And so i do my best to follow the teachings of the Old Man, always Hopeful that one day i will experience what the Young Man did at the end of the story.

That is a question that i, vic smyth, Read FAQ 'Why does vic smyth use all lowercase letters?' [X] have asked myself many times. Although i have always done a lot of journaling, i have only written two short stories, both in the same year, 1983. They were written quickly and effortlessly with few edits to the original hand-written draft. i have never written anything like it before or since. Would that classify it as channeled material? i'll let you, the reader, decide.

An eSabbath is day where i, vic smyth, do not use electronic devices to communicate. It is also a day where i stay away from any news. i observe the eSabbath starting Saturday night, ending Sunday night.

The word "tetragram" has an aura of the mystical about it. The word "acronym" is more mundane sounding.

Wow! What a novel idea!

1) Although vic smyth resides near the Land North, he rides his bicycle all year around, as long as the roads are plowed.
2) he wears his t-shirts inside out because he finds the seams distracting during meditation.
3) vic smyth is an ordained minister from an online church.

I, Heather Smith, did my doctoral (Bristol University) and post doctoral research (Kings College University) in England, and then further academic research in California (UCLA). Since the age of thirty (so for twenty years now) I've meditated every single day without exception at 5.30pm. (At other times during the day too, and over the last decade living more and more in continual Awareness). I once tried paragliding and loved it, and one of my ambitions is to parachute out of a plane.

The truth is that, the website being new, no one has asked any questions yet. So i used precognition to answer questions visitors will be frequently asking in the future. (Okay, to be really truthful, i made them up.)
